China

China is an interesting country with a rich and long history, whose cultural values are more than one thousand years old. China, the official name of the People’s Republic of China (Chinese, Zhonghua Renmin Gongheguo), abbreviated PRC — a state in East Asia, the largest state in the world in terms of population (over 1.3 billion, the majority of the population are ethnic Chinese, self-name — Han). China ranks third in the world in terms of territory, behind Russia and Canada. Since the proclamation of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, the Communist Party of China has been the ruling party. The Chinese authorities claim that the country is building a socialist market economy, but in fact the development of the economy is on the market path, and over the past three decades, a significant part of the economy has been privatized. The country’s constitution enshrined “socialism with Chinese characteristics” as an economic course.
